The sky above Cutteslowe Park fills with colourful balloons once again as Oxford's Balloon Fiesta returns for another year.
The event features early morning and evening mass balloon launches, with the festival's record being 36 balloons in one hour. In the main arena, vintage balloons tether at intervals throughout the day. The climax on Saturday evening is the Skyfire Spectacular - balloons burn torches in time to music along with fireworks and special lighting effects.
The arena also plays host to a wide range of spectacular entertainment - previous years have seen The HawkMaster and the Jez Avery Mountain Bike Stunt Show, a Medieval Village with combat displays and other heraldic activities, a huge shopping village, food market and craft marquee.
