Description
The wildlife of the River Thames is well known for providing the inspiration for Kenneth Grahame's 'The Wind in the Willows'. Now you can be equally inspired by the River's wildlife by joining one of Hobbs of Henly's special 'wildlife watching' cruises this summer.
The Chilterns Conservation Board is teaming up with Hobbs of Henley to offer special one and a half hour cruises on the River Thames between Henley and Hambleden. An expert will be on board to help passengers identify the wildlife they encounter on the trip. This Season, three longer trips lasting two hours, cruising from Henley through Marsh Lock to Wargrave and back are also being offered.
All cruises, except where otherwise stated, depart from Hobbs of Henley Boatyard, Station Road, Henley-on-Thames, RG9 1AZ.
Sailings are subject to river conditions and lock closures.
All vessels operate no-smoking policies inside, but smoking is permitted in designated outside areas.
