Description
Each year the Windsor Festival provides a unique experience in many spectacular venues. This September is no exception, events celebrated include the Diamond Wedding Anniversary of Her Majesty The Queen and His Royal Highness The Duke of Edinburgh, and the 150th anniversary of the birth of Elgar.
The programme is the strongest to date, and includes the Philharmonia Orchestra, City of Birmingham Symphony Orchestra and Chorus, The Academy of St Martin in the Fields, Humphrey Lyttelton, Brodsky Quartet and Jacqui Dankworth, Dame Felicity Lott, Martyn Brabbins, Christopher Robinson, David Starkey, and Douglas Hurd. Many more events for children and families have been introduced making this a great family day out.
