Marlow Dragon Boat Festival
Type: Sporting Event
Set in the beautiful and scenic riverside town of Marlow the 'Marlow Town Regatta & Festival' was first hosted in 2001. Replicating the 'garden party' atmosphere of the quintessential English regatta, the lively Enclosure crowds enjoy the regatta and the youth rowing programme traditionally held on the Saturday.
On the Sunday of the same weekend the Enclosure is transformed into a 'haven' of family friends! The Marlow Dragon Boat Festival annually attracts over 600 participants in 42 teams, which combined with overwhelming numbers of supporters both young and old creates a wonderful atmosphere and a truly fantastic day out in the height of the British summer.
