She Runs Windsor 10K & Expotique

She Runs Windsor is a brand new women’s only running and life style event, leading up to a 10km race in breathtaking surroundings on Bank Holiday Monday, 6th May 2013. More than just a 10km race, She Runs Windsor is a happening aimed at women of all levels, ages and from all walks of life who are passionate about sports, fitness, health, wellbeing and like a bit of luxury and pampering too!

Starting and finishing on the famous Long Walk in Windsor’s Great Park, the UKA certified 10 km course is spectacular, undulating and entirely run on traffic free roads around The Great Park. Some of the route’s key sights include iconic landmarks like the George III Statue, the York Club and the Jubilee Statue. Running down The Long Walk with a stunning view of Windsor Castle in the background will be an unforgettable experience for everyone taking part, and be ready to see the odd deer too! Starting pens will also be in place, allowing faster runners to chase that PB from the moment the start horn goes off whilst slower runners, beginners and walkers can set off at their own pace.

Another unique aspect of She Runs Windsor is the EXPOtique, a two day event taking place in The Great Park. The EXPOtique is a fun and interactive experience that is free and open to all, with a focus on sports, fitness, health and wellbeing. In addition to Packet Pick Up, there will be four areas to explore - Fit Me, Treat Me, Inspire Me and Buy Me- with each area featuring its own bar from a Vegetable and Smoothie Bar to a Champagne and Cupcake Bar, Tea Bar and Sports Nutrition Bar. Runners and all EXPOtique visitors will have access to a free segmental body composition analysis in the Healthy Me area, and a full schedule of speakers and activities will accompany the EXPOtique too.

She Runs Windsor is one of the most exciting additions to the UK running and lifestyle calendar, promising to become a high profile celebratory event from year one, uniting women and celebrating all things female.
