Are you looking for a more hands-on experience, why not try your hand at punting? This remains one of the most enjoyable summer activities. Hire a punt with Salters Steamers, Oxford , or a chauffeured punt service is available for £60.00 an hour if booked in advance.

Take to the water in a 3-man canoe and explore The Thames

We can offer different packages from: the whole of the Thames challenge, to 1 or 2 day hire packages, bespoke trips or even gift vouchers We cater for everyone from families and small groups, up to larger group outings. We can advise on routes for first time canoers to experienced paddlers looking for something different.

Book dad on a Dinghy Sailing Course

Bisham Abbey Sailing School offers a choice of dinghy sailing sessions including  weekend sailing sessions over five days ( Sundays - 13.00p.m. - 16.30p.m.) or on a more personal basis using both single and double-handed boats by arrangement: 2 SAIL BOAT COURSE, intensive three days (Maximum two students to instructor). Assessment at end of course and appropriate RYA certificate awarded, course dates by mutual arrangement. Or One day non-certificate course. 2 sail boat, maximum two students to instructor, courses by mutual agreement.

Geocaching is a free, fun way to explore new places or to take a different look at places you already know. It’s a bit like a high-tech treasure hunt that anyone can join. There are lots of geocaches along the Thames Path and geocache trails for everyone, no matter how far you want to walk.
