Public moorings
When sleep beckons there's nothing better than mooring up beneath the stars for the night. There are plenty of moorings to choose from along the River Thames. See our short-stay moorings page for a list.
There are also less formal moorings such as farm land. However, please respect ‘No mooring' signs and ask permission from the owner of the river bank when possible. For more information please see our Mooring Factsheet.
