Emergency rendezvous points
We want everyone to enjoy boating on the River Thames while staying safe at all times.
To help you stay safe we have provided a list of points on the river where the Emergency Services can gain access and provide assistance should you need it. The full rendezvous point document can be downloaded for reference.
To help you find the rendezvous points, use the map below. Type a place name or postcode into the search box above the map to see the nearest RVP. Use the plus/minus tool to zoom in and out, and the arrows to pan around the map.
Each location is identified by quoting the address, grid reference and RVP (rendezvous point) reference number. If you are unable to get to an RVP then quote the nearest upstream and downstream locations to your position. L=left bank, R=right bank going upstream from Teddington to Lechlade.
