River Thames Locks and Weirs
This guide is designed to teach children, and adults the history of locks and weirs and how they work. It also encourages everybody to be safe near water by giving important warnings about the hidden dangers of the river. Children can also use the leaflet to collect water safety stickers from lock sites to get free entry to the Wind in the Willows exhibition at the River & Rowing Museum in Henley. Out and About Guides
Out and About Guides are a series of pamphlets (39 in total) covering the non-tidal river from Lechlade to Teddington Lock. Penton Hook walk - A lovely, quiet secluded wooded island hidden away on the river with a number of routes to explore and the opportunity to fish.
Molesey walk - Pleasant paths along the banks of the River Thames through parkland with views of Garrick's Temple and islands.
