Wine Making Weekend
Runnymede Hotel and Spa have teamed up with local wine making company Grape Inventions to offer a special 'Wine Making Weekend' Package. This package includes an overnight stay, including breakfast, and a days wine-making experience, which results in 24 of your own personally created bottles of wine available for bottling and pick-up just six weeks later!
Grape Inventions is the brainchild of ex-city workers, Ian and Pat, and offers a unique experience for all those interested in the wine industry. During the day spent with them, you will have the chance to taste different types of wine, learn about the ingredients that create wine, explore the wine making process, and, at the end of the day, you will have created your very own wine!
All that's left is to entrust your wine into their capable hands for six weeks, during which time it will be cared for by Grape Inventions, ready for you to bottle, label and drink on your return.
The 'Wine Making Weekend' package includes:
- A Friday, Saturday or Sunday night stay at Runnymede Hotel & Spa
- Full English breakfast in their riverside restaurant Leftbank
- Full use of their award-winning Spa with indoor pool, tennis courts, gymnasium, saunas and eucalyptus steam room
- Return taxi transfers to Grape Inventions
- A days wine tasting and wine making course

These rates are available Friday, Saturday, Sunday nights and Bank Holidays (subject to availability) and are valid until 31 December 2008.
*The wine must be picked up independently six weeks later
