17th century Ham House in Richmond with its sumptuous interiors is open until 2 November while the formal gardens with the lavender parterres and wilderness maze are open all year.
Visit the gardens and estate of Cliveden House, originally the haunt of the rich and famous. Take in the spectacular views and enchanting walks through the woodlands before stopping off for a meal at Cliveden’s exclusive Waldo’s restaurant (open weekends only from 8 November – 21 December).
Get lost in the maze at Hampton Court, open all year, before exploring the beautiful gardens and the palace with Henry VIII’s Great Hall and the Tudor kitchens.
