About
We are super excited about Eton's traditional Christmas Light Switch-on Event on Thursday 18 November. There is a (ticket only)* Carol Concert at Eton Chapel at 6pm, followed by Official Light Switching On Ceremony in Jubilee Square at 7pm.
Local pantomine comedian Kevin Cruise will be compère for the evening, with Olympic rower and broadcaster Sir Matthew Pinsent turning the lights on at 7pm. Many of our wonderful local businesses are staying open late, and there will be food stalls, mulled wine, Father Christmas & reindeer, late night shopping and a wonderful atmosphere.
* Tickets available from Eton Information Centre, Eton Stationers and Premier Stores, all on Eton High Street.

5.40pm The Windsor Boys' School Brass Band
6.15pm Susan Handy School of Dance
6.30pm Lantern procession from Eton Chapel to Jubilee Square with children from Eton Porny, Father Christmas, his elves and reindeer
6.45pm Procession arrives at Jubilee Square
7.00pm Countdown to light switch on
7.05pm Reindeer gallery opens
7.05pm Community carols with the Windsor Boys School and Eton College
7.25pm Susan Handy School of Dance
7.40pm The Windsor Boys School Brass Band
Eton Information Centre
Join us at the Eton Information Centre for our Christmas late night shopping event, Thursday 18 November. We will be open in the evening until 9pm as Eton lights up for Christmas!!
Call in and stock up with Christmas gifts, cards, calendars, art, beautiful glassware and our range of Woods of Windsor products.
Take part in our Christmas Teddy trail; pick up an application form and set off to find the teddies hiding in the shop windows in Eton High Street. The lucky winner who solves all the clues will win a family visit to the Theatre Royal Windsor to see Jack and the Beanstalk, this year's must-see pantomime!
