Bisham Abbey Sailing, Marlow, Bucks
ACTIVITY: Junior & Adult Dinghy Sailing Courses (run in parallel)
WHEN: 4 day courses Tuesday to Friday, weekly from 8th July to 29th August
COSTS: £345 (incl. VAT) person (adults and children)
STAY: Accommodation is not available on site but there are some great places to stay nearby including The Macdonald Compleat Angler.
Four day junior courses follow the RYA Youth Sailing Scheme and are available from age 8 upwards. Tuition is given with close supervision, in small groups using "Topper" or "Optimist" dinghies. Each participant has their own boat with the aim of becoming an independent sailor. Dorney Lake, Eton
Dorney Lake is a modern world-class rowing and flat-water canoeing centre set in a spectacular 450-acre parkland near Windsor. The site hosted the Rowing and Kayak events during the Olympic and Paralympic Games for London 2012. They can tailor-make an activity package on land and/or water to meet a families needs including catering requirements such as a BBQ.
