KAILANI is a luxury wide beam Hotel Boat, crewed and fully catered, cruising England’s southern waterways. Independently assessed by Visit England as 5 stars and awarded their Gold Accolade in 2018 for its quality of fittings, exceptional standard of housekeeping and guest feedback reviews on hospitality, Kailani is the first hotel boat to receive this prestigious award.
Launched in 2013, Kailani provides full board cruises on England’s southern canal and river network, including the whole of the River Thames from Limehouse marina in east London to Lechlade in Gloucestershire. In fact, Kailani is the only hotel boat licensed by the Port of London Authority to cover the tidal section through central London. Other areas include the River Lee to Ware, River Wey to Guildford, Kennet & Avon Canal to Bristol and Grand Union Canal to Warwick. Kailani is also the only hotel boat cruising the London Ring - being the Grand Union Canal to Little Venice, Regents Canal and River Thames.
Hosts Gordon and Dorenda, who designed and commissioned Kailani, look after guests’ needs throughout their stay on board. All dietary and health issues are taken care of.
Kailani is 65 ft long, 12 ft wide carrying a maximum 4 guests on cruises from 3 nights upwards in 2 well appointed cabins - a double and a twin bedded, both with en-suite, toiletries, gowns and slippers. Guests can enjoy relaxation in the spacious saloon area and out on the bow deck at the front of the boat.
Meals are all freshly prepared on board – from full cooked breakfast, morning coffee and cakes, light lunch, afternoon tea with cakes and 4-course evening meal with wines.
