Henley - Town of Festivals offers a wide range of festivals during the year. The Henley Festival showcases all the ingredients of the best festivals and is one of the biggest in the UK. The Traditional Boat Festival features the largest display of traditional boats in Europe, the fleet of Dunkirk "Little Ships" with MTB 102, Her Majesty's rowbarge "Gloriana", the largest gathering of amphibious vehicles to date, WW1 air display team, and a return visit by Bluebird K3.
The newest festival along the River Thames is Reading Thames Festival 26-29 September, 2019 sees its third year with an exciting 4 day event programme to celebrate Reading’s stunning waterways. It includes walks, theatrical performances, waterway light displays, food and drink stalls, children's activities, river writing, talks, exhibitions dedicated to Reading's waterway history and much more.
