Biodegradable Water Urn, Windsor

Designed for burial of ashes in water

I give her to the water

Hand-crafted from sustainably resourced material

I give her to the Thames

Adult dimensions 35.5cm x 31.5cm x 7.5cm

I give her to the Ganges

Urn supplied with a biodegradable water-soluble bag

I give her to the rivers of the world

Urn floats on the surface for about five minutes

I give her to let her go

Once below the surface, urn breaks down naturally

I find her everywhere

WINDSOR

The Thames is a popular choice for Hindu burials in the UK, as an alternative to the sacred flowing Ganges. Tranquil locations include Windsor, Richmond, Kingston-upon-Thames, and the Thames estuary at Leigh-on-Sea.

The Royal Borough of Windsor and Maidenhead combines 1,000 years of history, contemporary shopping and fine dining with sports, leisure activities and events. EtonMaidenhead and Bray and the smaller villages of the Royal Borough, such as Cookham, reflect that special character.

Explore the landscapes, the buildings and fine arts and crafts. And with 1,000 acres of National Trust land and 4,800 acres owned by the Crown Estate there’s plenty of places to enjoy the outdoors.
