Great places to shop
- Reading has town centre shopping and retail outlets just beyond the town centre. The main shopping in Reading is found in the centre, with a number of independent shops and three indoor shopping centres, offering a whole host of fashion and lifestyle brands, as well as food, drink and leisure facilities to help you relax after a day of retail therapy!
- Windsor and Maidenhead have a mix of pedestrian-only shopping centres and shop-lined streets offering shoppers a great mixture of high-street names, independent retailers and regular markets too. There are plenty of cafés and restaurants to stop for a 'refuel' and people watch! At the heart of shopping in Windsor and Eton is Windsor Royal, comprising Station Shopping, a mostly covered area that occupies the site of an 1850s railway station where you can still see Queen Victoria’s royal waiting room.
- Marlow includes boutiques with a difference such as Jacu offering Japanese/Korean designs, or Moda in Pelle with their range of elegant, affordable luxury ladies shoes, a visit to a beautiful art gallery like Clarendon’s Fine Art Gallery with its contemporary paintings and sculptures, there’s plenty to keep you occupied. - Henley offers a selection of great indepedent shops combined with the smaller high street traditionals. Buy a bear at Asquiths, established in 1984, it became one of the World’s first Teddy Bear Shops. Biggie Best UK searches for its products from the bustling streets of India and Vietnam, to the sunny skies of South Africa. Collier & Robinson specialises in high quality hand-made bespoke blazers and accessories for clubs and a ‘Henley-inspired’ ready to wear collection. Corner Copia is a glorious selection of vintage, antique collectibles and bric a brac. Chocolate connoiseur, Gorvett & Stone's recipes and products are made using a french chocolate.

- London's hidden gems - Close to the Thames and London Bridge is Borough Market, one of the best known produce and street food markets around.
