Day 10 Days Lock to Wallingford

Today's walk was led by Ruth from Thame and Wheatley Ramblers. We had a fabulous group of 15 walkers, including Jason Debney from The Thames Landscape Strategies who gave us some great insights into the local area and wildlife. The sun was out, and the spirits were high as we made our way to Wallingford. Photo 1.

Day 11 Wallingford to Goring

Today’s walk took us from Wallingford to Goring. We were joined by our Anniversary Poet in residence, Robert Seatter who has published his Thames Path National Trail poetry in the book 'River'. Robert regaled us with several of his poems while we walked. It was a pleasure to have  several return walers with us too, as well as Anna Dillon who gave us some great historic insight into the area. A great walk and talk section today! Photo 2.

Day 12 Goring to Caversham

A warm day for a walk today! Two of our fabulous volunteers Roger and Philip hosted the group and we set off, learning about Brunel’s bridge and the Pillboxes along the way. We continued to Mapledurham lock for lunch, then the final push took us to Reading and Caversham Bridge. Photo 3.
