Celebrate Oktoberfest in Oxford & Stroll the Thames Path
Looking for the perfect way to welcome autumn in Oxfordshire? Why not combine the festive spirit of Oktoberfest 2025 with the natural beauty of the Thames Path?
On Saturday, 4th October 2025, Tap Social Movement is hosting a lively Oktoberfest celebration at Curtis Industrial Estate, North Hinksey Lane, Oxford. From 2pm, the taproom transforms into a Bavarian-style beer hall, complete with oompah music by the Abingdon Town Band, award-winning craft beers, and German-inspired eats. The band plays from 6–8pm, and best of all—entry is free!
Lederhosen and dirndls are highly encouraged for the full experience.
Before the festivities begin, take advantage of the crisp autumn air with a walk along the Thames Path, which runs right through Oxford. Whether you choose the scenic stretch from Osney to Kennington or the tranquil route past Port Meadow and Godstow Abbey, you’ll enjoy riverside views, wildlife, and peaceful green spaces just minutes from the city centre.
So grab your walking boots and your stein—Tap Social's Oktoberfest is the perfect blend of nature and celebration. Prost!
