Radio presenters from the BBC put their best legs together for Children in Need this year!
Presenters from BBC Berkshire Sophie Drew, Kemi Spence, Ellie Tutt and Katie Tyler took on a 25 mile three-legged walk on the Thames Path as part of a joint BBC Radio effort that saw 40 stations joining in to trek a combined total of 1,000 miles.
The presenters were joined by some of our Thames Path team - Clare and Roger - as well as some of our amazing volunteers.
One team started in Reading, the other in Maidenhead, and they walked towards each other until meeting in the middle at Hambledon Lock. The entire team’s energy and enthusiasm were infectious throughout the two days, culminating in a lively finish where we were joined by the icon Pudsey Bear!
A fantastic effort by all, for a fantastic cause!
