This year sees the third Reading Walks Festival. The Festival takes place between 10-18 May 2025 and this the programme encompasses 50 walks and two bike rides, many of which include the Thames Path National Trail.
Reading Walks Festival is designed to share the stories of Reading as you walk. They liken themselves to a ‘walks festival’ than a ‘walking festival’, as all the walks are guided by enthusiastic and knowledgeable volunteer guides.
The walks all start at train stations or bus stops to make the festival as sustainable as possible. You can search the programme by walks and dates below. The description of each walk will include information on length of walk (km/hours), difficulty, the type of walk (guided tour/healthy walk/sociable walk), price, if walks are wheelchair accessible or family friendly and how to join the walk using public transport. Dogs are not permitted on any of the festival walks.
You can book all the walks below - just select a date to reveal all the walks available. If you would like to browse the digital programme to get an overview of the Festival, you can do that here. Just remember to come back to this site to book your tickets.
We hope you enjoy exploring Reading and all that it has to offer. If you want more information on the festival, please visit these links: FAQs, About Us, Getting There, Accessible Walks pages.
