Hello and welcome to the brand-new Thames Path National Trail blog!

So what is the Thames Path National Trail I hear you shout? It is a long-distance walking trail that follows the River Thames from its source in the Cotswolds all the way to London. It is 185.2 miles (298 km) long, which is a lot of distance to cover and the Thames Path Team are super excited to finally launch this blog so we can share with you news and photos from all along our fantastic trail. We even uploaded a few posts last week, before our big launch, so you have a few interesting articles to look back on and read.

Whether you are a seasoned long-distance walker or more of a quick walk with the dog kind of person we hope that you will find walk inspiration, fascinating information, fun facts and beautiful pictures here.

We are planning to share route ideas, family fun tips, photos galore and hope to bring together our fantastic Thames Path community in this space – we’d love to hear from you – what type of content would you like to see here? Comment below!

We can’t wait to get started, and we hope you will join us on this journey and enjoy the content we share.

Stay tuned for our next post on walks along the Thames, coming soon!
